Apologies if I am being a complete numpty here but I have recently bought an SPV C500 and I am having a problem syncing appointments with Oultook. Basically if I create an appointment in Outlook on my laptop and then sync with the phone the appointment appears but at a time an hour later than scheduled. There doesn't seem to be a problem if I create the appointment on my phone.
All a bit odd really. I have checked time settings and now need some help..... |

It seems you have a time conflict between your PC and your device. There is a setting which can be configure whether the device synchronize with PC settings or the PC settings synchronize with the device.
Check your options on the device at Active Sync for Schedules and Conflicts. -------------------- Playin' with FIRE is the ability to manage how much damage you can inflect to others or to yourself!

I had exactly the same problem and initially thought it was a problem with the phone.
The problem ended up being the time on the PC and time on the phone were out by one hour (summertime savings). When you sync with the PC, the phone also syncs to the PC's time. Check the time on your PC and I would guess it is an hour out. Change it to the right time and your problem should be sorted Cheers |

The first thing I did was check the time settings. The time on the phone and the pc is actually syncing correctly. It is just the appointments that are showing as an hour out. Any other possible solutions out there??? |

I had the exact same problem, which i have now solved. My date and time settings were the same on the phone and the computer. then when i synced appointments 1 hour out. The solution: Check the date time settings on the computer, I supect you will have the right time, but the day light saving box is unchecked. You need to check this box, this will change the time by 1 hour and then you need to manually change time to correct time. Voila. It seems the phone has daylight saving as a default. |
