OK... I've seen this posted a few times, but as yet, haven't seen any answer for it...
App Unlock - done
SPVServices files downloaded and .cab file installed on phone

I start up the SPVServices
I click on "SMILock Tool"
I type AGREE where I have to.

Then I get the wonderful message "IE has encountered a problem and has to shut down, do I want to send an error report?" (etc...)

I was using IE7, but went back to IE6 just in case - still didn't work...

Any ideas?

HELP!!!! I don’t have and can not get a sim card. How can I unlock my SMT5600?? I dont even know who the old provider is.. got phone of ebay! I can hook up thru Activesync but can’t execute a file from my PC on the phone!! PLEASE HELP!!! aris@modelpromote.com

if i unlock my orange c500 and then put qtek rom on there, will it stay unlocked?

Hi All,

I followed the instructions and unlocked my c550, now I can get an O2 sim to work as well as the original Orange one, but my 3 sim card just return an 'Invalid or missing sim card' error. Has anyone managed to get theirs to work with a 3 sim. If so how?

heyy this is my first time doing this, and im not quite sure what im doing. maybe if someone could help?

ive downloaded the files and unzipped them.

Is it ok to bluetooth them to my phone from my comp as ive lost the cable?
then, once ive done that, what do i do now?

any advise would be appreciated, im just worried about completely funkin up my phone!

i have bought an spv c500 and am trying to unlock it for O2 using my old orange sim
however i have had problems with the app unlock part. After i've entered details and confirmed everything etc. on http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdefq.aspx, nothing happens. is this because i have to connect to the internet through the phone to recieve it - if so how do i do pass through internet connection cos i don't have any credit on this sim and am reluctant to put 10 quid on it just to unlock.
help me out please
