So I was going to take a look at the SBSH forums, just to see if anything was new with Papyrus, when I noticed that there was a new forum under Smartphone Software Forums named "Facade". Anyone know what this is? It's not yet shown on their product list... so maybe it's a really cool new secret project!

I think I remember Amit saying something a while back about them starting a new smartphone program once Papyrus was a bit more full featured. Maybe this is it. I can't wait to findout what it is.

I thought the "new thing" was the Symbian version
http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showt...indpost&p=36304 But Facade means "an artificial or deceptive front" (I looked it up, just to get it right, not that I'm picky or anything), so I reckon it's either: *) the fabled homescreen plugin, or *) they're going to reveal that Amit is really Lord Lucan |

And even better, it's now up! It's downloadable! It's cool! Time for all of you homescreen developers to get a move on it! Mebbe I should actually try my hand at this fancy shmancy homescreen design stuff, now that I have access to the Ruttensoft Homescreen Designer. It might not be able to do everything, but at least it'll give me a good starting point to start hacking XML from. |
