For my previous post on my new skin, for the users who didn't like SimpsonsXP due to its XP'ness.

Check out the classic windows skin, available here.

Not having my SPV attached to my PC via USB, is it still possible for me to download the skins discussed here and if so from where? Also should there be any dissatisfaction with the new skin can you revert top the default easily (again just thru the fone, not with a PcSync) Any advice greatly appreciated!

You can download the files through GPRS, then use all-explorer to move them into the appropriate folders, try a forum search for more details. You then select the themes in the Settings > Home screen menu.

If the themes are packaged into a .hme file then you can download them directly to your phone using Pocket IE. Information on how to package into .hme is in the home screen whitepaper at MSDN:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default....2homescreen.asp

If you just have a background image and a colour scheme, it is far easier to use the Smartphone Theme Generator to build the .hme file. The theme generator is available at:
