My mpx220 is unable to charge through the normal charger anymore and only works through USB charger. This has not been a problem normally but now that I am going on vacation, I have no access to a computer. Is there any USB converter I can use so that I will be able to charge at a power outlet?

Try ebay there are tons of quality chargers for mpx220 ranging from car chargers, wall chargers with USB/ActiveSync style cable (full pins), usb cables etc..

My wall charger was acting up and sometimes wouldn't work. I gave it a firm kick and now it works fine again lol.

Someone on eBay was selling a universal adapter that shoved 12v or whatever into a USB jack. Ie. you could plug ANY USB device into it, and it would give you normal USB power:)

I had this problem too, it is with the phone, and I exchanged thru cingular. But in the meantime, you can also buy a spare battery and a battery charger and just charge the batteries out of the phone. You can get them really cheap. Then you also have a spare!
