can anyone verify if the multipress issue is resolved in the uk update? I thought it was a hardware issue but some people have said it was fixed with the prerelease version of the uk update.

From what I can tell - No not really

It has cured A problem I had with multipress as did others. It lets you press the soft keys at the same time as the directional pad, so you can run and jump in mario etc.

Some people claim that this used to work on the previous ROM, but my testing shows it to not work on the previous ROM.

The new leaked rom does NOT let you press a number and the directional pad at the same time

I can confirm this.

multipress with joystick and softkeys works (as it did for me on the previous ROM too)

multipress with joystick and number keys does not work

I bloody hope that this is not an issue on the C550. I love my phone games and was crippled by the lack of multipress on the C500 I'll be glad to see the back of it

I hope it's fixed in the 550 too, mine should arrive in the morning..... Also I've noticed that for some reason my voicemail keeps getting set to 654321 with the orange released version of the 4.2.2.1 firmware.... odd...... Oh well get the 550, if happy then put mobile 5 on the 500..... wink.gif
