its probebly just branded as LG in korea, just as one of mitacs phones is branded sagem in france... Also their gps is branded amitec in sweden

yes, some products are branded by medion too, but usually the "Mio" logo is removed with something else..
and the LG mio website is directly accessible from Mitac official site and there are available all the products except smartphones (select Korean) while the sagem, amitec, medion websites aren't
