I believe that you go to start/settings/phone/caller id/ and change the provide my caller id to : no one

yeah..but its not there in 3.45..is there any way to do it via registry or something?

If you don't have the feature on your phone, you could try dialing *#31#[SEND] and if it returns a message like "Service Enabled" you can type #31#[SEND] to always block it from then on, and then *31#[SEND] if you want people to see it again. But it will hide your caller ID from everybody permanently unless you dial *31# to disable caller ID blocking.
