Am I the only one who can't get this working?
I've setup the "preselections" (prefixes) for UK mobile numbers in both 07n and +447n formats, but it just never sends a message back to the caller. Anyone know how to make this work? |

Can you make this to work with SMS too? i.e. I'm in the meeting, someone sent me an SMS and it auto-replies with the pre-set messages?
Thanks. -------------------- - Tony Sutton

No, nothing appears in the Sent SMS
Does the phone have to reject the call, or divert it to voicemail or something? My phone rings (from another UK mobile), I reject the call... nothing happens. I've tried loads of combinations of UK mobile prefixes: 07, 070...079, +447, +4470...+4479, +44 7, +44 70...+44 79 |

does it have to stay running for it to work? (not presss the 'exit' button)
or will a process run in the background if you do press the 'exit' button? -------------------- James Lovell

I also tried all combinations with prefixes and also reject the call or not to reject. But I am not able to make it work. I use the Eurotel SDA (the same as T-Mobile SDA). What shoud I do to make it work? -------------------- m1k1 [HTC s710]

eesh, no offense Sven, but I can't get it to work either...on a Toronto provider...i leave the program open and "Active" however if i miss a call it doesn't send back anything. No records in the history list either. Hope to see a solution to all of this because it sounds like it would work a treat!

OK, so if you have a call logged that's better than most... What do you have in your Preselection boxes? I think this is key... O and where the hell is Sven, I 'm sure he can let us know what's going on 8) -------------------- Current:

I am here :-)
Hm it seems that there are country-specific elements that prevents it from running on some devices! We have tested it here in switzerland on 3 different networks with 3 different devices (Orange SPV E200, C500, C550) Of course I will work hard to bring a solution, I will contact some of you with a PN with a Debug-Version of the application so we can try to find the wrong thing... Please allow some hours, I am just configuring the first beta of Windows Vista :-) Cheers Sven BTW for Preselection: You have to enter both 078 and +4178 (international format) into the box! It should be exactly as you see on your device if you get a call! Sven:
When I started the program it was in german all of the sudden (thank god I took those classes back in high school ERROR Auto Reply.exe IOException Application::Run+0xf Form1::Main+0xa Hope that will help you in any way, furthermore, another question is, (which has already been posted here), do I need to dismiss the call, or will it send an SMS even if I just let it ring till it stops? Cheers -------------------- |
