If like me you want GPRS to stay permanently connected, even after pressing the red end key or after inbox has done a send and receive:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections\(GPRS connection name)\AlwaysOn

Just change it from 0 to 1.

Does this force the Uni to stay on GPRS or will it still use UMTS where possible?

Sorry to appear a little dense, but I can't find the registry to be able to edit it. Any directions would be gratefully received smile.gif

Download Total Commander CE (freeware), load it up, head to the root directory and then tap on "\\" then on "registry".
