Sorry mate but I think it's best to forget about the iPlay alternative.
I tried it and tried to get the support of the developer but failed to get any results :

noooooo sad.gif why does apple have to be so s***! I spent loads of money buying songs.. and i just got my c500 recently and cant even bloody listen to em.. (and i cba to buy an ipod cuz battery sux!)

anyway um, the guy from iPlay replied to my error.. he said someone else had this problem installing and he didnt know what it was... he left it because he thought it was a one off.. was this person you by anychance?

Anyway if anyone could keep me posted or post here on the release of iTunes for smartphone or any sort of m4p/m4a player or converter, that'd be great.

Hi

One solution is to convert your itunes music files into another format. To get round the drm you can burn to a cd and then import again or if you do a google search for a program called JHymn and use it to unlock the files so your able to use it on your c500. (i would post a link but i think it will be against forum rules as ??over legal issues). So you are not able to sync but you can transfer individual files. Not very elegant but it works.

Once you have burned them to CD you can use Windows Media Player to rip the CD as MP3 files (go into Options in WMP and change the type of file). The MP3's will then play on your phone if you get a big storage card.

There is a new tool available called "musicfone". You can download the Shareware-Version under www.musicfone.com maybe this will solve your problems.

DRM free at Amazon music store. Makes things nice and simple... have my music on phone, mp3 player, PC, laptop and backed up on external HDD.
