Select your character to battle against international opponents, unlock new challengers and locations and display your special skills as you attempt to become the Ultimate Bowling Fighter. Choose from Ryo - the skillful Japanese warrior; Kelly - the all-American bowling heroine; Jose - the smooth Spanish hustler; or Maya the bootylicious Brazilian diva and challenge the others to a duel on the bowling lane. The game features 3 play modes: Solo - for a simple one-off challenge or to develop your skills; Tournament - where players travel to international locations and battle against a range of opponents to unlock extra features; and Multiplayer - play against your handheld or 2, 3 or 4 friends! As previously reviewed by Pondrew HERE Ultimate Bowling Fighter is now also availabe for the Smartphone and VGA Pocket PC devices. Ultimate Bowling Fighter features fast-paced game play, fun 'Strike' and 'Spare' effects, and realistic stereo sounds and in-game animation. Now running on the Smartphone, this for me is one of the best games released this year. The use of animation sound effects and vibration really brings the game of bowling to the player. The Smartphone version has a slightly different layout to the Pocket PC but the gameplay and characters stay the same. Game Play To begin with you can choose any of the four main characters from around the world. You can play in three game modes, Single player, Tournament and Multiplayer. Single player is mainly for those quick games and to get a bit of practise in. Tournament is for challenging the the CPU players with Victor the Russian as the final boss who is very unforgiving in his gameplay. Finally there is multiplayer, here you can challenge up to four of your friends. Each player has a different weight ball and bowling style, with the addition of a special power shot they all take practice to master.
