 can't send/receive mms, on sp5

hi

i can't install or send mms from sp5 on orange network.
wen i download the cab file frm imate site, it dont install


anyone managed to send/receive mms on sp5 for orange-uk network?
plz post settings.

What EXACTLY do you mean?

When you copy it to the phone, you get an error when you try and run the cab file using the phone's file manager?

If so, is your phone FULLY APPLICATION unlocked?

Do a google for HTC Unlock Tool, as I am not sure if it is safe to post it here etc.

This is a 'signed' cab file that SHOULD let you run on the phone.

It will then install the Unlocker on your phone.

Run this (I think it gets created in the accesories folder), and then it should unlock your phone for applications properly.

I don't really think this is the problem though so can you explain a LOT better what you mean by getting errors when running the .cab file?

Have you installed the correct operator settings from the i-mate site? You want the Orange Contract settings, install on your computer and then copy the CAB file to your SP5. This will install ALL the Orange settings including Orangeworld. If you then go to start>settings> remove programs you should see 'i-mate Orange Contract' in the list if it has installed properly. To send MMS messages you must keep your storage free memory above 4mb. You can access this figure from start>task manager>>menu>system info. Delete any pics, videos that you don't need to attain this figure and any apps you install try and place them on the storage card. I have an i-mate SP5 on Orange Contract and everything works fine. I hope this helps you, stay with it. smile.gif
PS: I think you will find the SP5 is already application un-locked.
