Just thought I would pass this on.

I have been looking around for a cheap copy of Call of Duty 2 PC version for a while and the cheapest I could get it to was £30 but most places wanted £35 or £40

Well I did some sniffing on EBay and found this

It says Taiwanese on the box but I can confirm its a full English version, the CD-Key works biggrin.gif and as this is the collectors edition you get a second DVD with behind the scenes, video walthrough's etc

Excellent value biggrin.gif

What do you think of the game? I'm a little disappointed to be honest. Seen a few bugs that required a restart, plus games like Brothers in Arms and DoD: Source seem to be miles ahead in playability.

I love it, cant put it down. So much better than COD1 (which was miles ahead of Medal of Honour)

Much better game play, more realistic hugely improved graphics and sounds and much better online play.

I have to say I love this type of game I have gone all through the Medal of Honour series (except Pacific Assault which is pants) and when I tried COD1 I was impressed now I have started COD2 its excellent.

As for bugs etc I have not had any problems running the game at all, both single player and multiplayer.

Yeah, I think I'll need to give it more time. I'm into DoD which is different from a lot of games in that the damage taken is realistic. One or two hits and you are down. Running about in COD2 almost had a black knight "I'm invincible" feel about it as I was taking shots and kept on going! Might turn the difficulty up!

The bug I saw was in the non-playing characters, some trigger didn't go off so while you got the sound of the russian charge, all the soldiers just stood there! Bizzare.

I think GAME have the COD2 special edition going to £24.98 in their Jan sale. Not a bad price on the high street!

Bloody hell, it's coming out for the pocket PC now!!

Can someone sort out a news story for this? I can't wait for a decent WW2 FPS for the PPC.

COD2 for the 360 rules. The most fun I've ever had. I'll sell you my copy when COD3 comes out! smile.gif
