 Grundig to release HTC Universal as Grundig GR980

Grundig are to release the HTC Universal (AKA SPV M5000, O2 XDA Exec and alike) as the Grundig GR980. It is the same colour as the SPV M5000, the only difference being the keyboard which which is silver instead of black.

From what i can see the specs are identical the only difference is the size which is a few mm different. It looks nice and is on the Grundig Website here.

Grundig are a company that were based in Germany producing high quality electronic goods like TVs etc. They have now been taking over by an Asia based company and of course this phone has been made by HTC in Japan.

According to the Grundig website it is set to be released Q1 2006.
