 spv m5000 and contacts, access from within windows

is there away i can (from windows explorer) find the contacts on any of the spv's as i have had some major hassles with active and was wondering if its possable to just copy the file over as a back up.
as the contacts are on the phone and not the simcard and i can still go through the phone from within windows.
