Got my spectec card today but im still playing around with drivers and settings to try to get it working
Out of interest i compaired the Kodak card and the spectec cards dimensions and they seem to be different, the kodak card is a few mill longer than the spectec one so it looks unlikely that they are the same hardware. fUNKUS +ADDITION: After spending over 10 hours trying to get this card to work im gunna start a new thread about the spectec card. Beginning to wonder is T-mobile have some sort of GPRS 'lock' to stop wifi cards from working! This post has been edited by fUNKUS: Feb 21 2006, 20:33 |

Hi everybody.
I was just curious if someone has found any method to get the Kodak WiFi Card to work. I have recently bought one and was hoping to finally enjoy WLan on my iPaq but haven't found a way to use it yet. Sorry if this topic has already been sufficiently covered but the search didn't bring up anything of use. Any help would be great PS.: I know that this thread was dead for over two years. But wouldn't it be gread if someone had found a solution? |

I'd hate to resurrect this old thread but I found a very interesting website while searching google for Marvell 88W8010 SDIO drivers.
http://www.embeddedworks.net/wlan/oem_cf_80211g.html The EW-XG-880M item that EmbeddedWorks sells contains a Marvell 88W8010 with optional CF or SDIO interface and ARM Windows CE 4.2/5.0 driver support. While it depends how different the hardware is, this product sounds like just what we need in the way of drivers for this Kodak card. Perhaps if someone asks nicely, EmbeddedWorks will send their driver for this device if requested. |
