That's the 10th of April not 4th October.
Apparently O2 will release MSFP for the Exec on 10/04 to coincide with the release of the XDA IQ. MSFP for the XDA Mini will be on O2's website today (29/03/06) Or so I believe.... -------------------- He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. QUOTE(Confucious @ Mar 29 2006, 11:03) Apparently O2 will release MSFP for the Exec on 10/04 to coincide with the release of the XDA IQ. MSFP for the XDA Mini will be on O2's website today (29/03/06) To hell with AKU2/MSFP.... the best of it is ripped out (A2DP). Considering it needs a server and expensive software, it's only useful to the suits... we got training on it to sell it (O2 Business) and they tried to tell us that 55% of companies run MS Exchange, which is useless to us, as most people we sell to are small businesses. And I can understand the various companies having their own name for the Tornado/SP5/etc, but wasn't this supposed to be called the "Orion" by O2 initially? Who plucked "IQ" outta their behind? -------------------- --

I have SBS 2003 running on my home PC so, together with T-Mobs unlimited data plan I'm just waiting for MSFP now to get Push email up and running.
IQ is a strange name for a phone but Orion was the booted Escort and I guess they didn't want comparisons..... -------------------- He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

Does anyone know whether A2DP was included in the latest o2 ROM update?
A comment above seems to imply that it wasn't and I can't find any information about it on the o2 site. |
