Have setup my bluetooth receiver and can only pick outgoing ports 6 or 7

problem is tomtom only list com ports 0 1 3 9

if you edit \Program Files\Navigator\navigator.cfg with a suitable hex editor

you will see some hex code and for example com1 change the value to the out going port that you have used and copy the navigator.cfg back to your device. When you open tomtom up it will then see you bt gps on the previously unselectable port!!!

My TomTom happily connects to either port 6 or 7 in the tomtom gps config i have to to select 'bluetooth serial port..' there is 2 as the sentance is too long to show the post number, but works for me

If you update from Navigator V5 to V5.21 you get the correct ports.

problem is that guide is based on the widcomm bluetooth stack no the ms stack

Problem i had is that tomtom did not show my port and the latest update crashes, i have emailed tomtom but wait for the reply.

so i edited the config file.

sure users of the bakoni version will find this usefull wink.gif
