 Is it possible to unlock it without Orange sim

Hello.I bought locked Orange spv c550 on Ebay.Try to unlock it but as I understand I need Orange sim for unlock. I cant find Orange sim in my country.Is it possible to unlock it without Orange sim?Thank you.

You could try using a remote RegEdit application to Application Unlock the C550 from your PC via ActiveSync - and then you can try and run the SPV-Services application and see if it'll let you do it without a Sim in it.

Worth a try - but the only answer is 'Try it out' I'm afraid.

Thank you sporkguy.I can't unlock it this way because I can't open explorer on the phone and can't run CERT.CAB.Is there other way to simunlock?Thank you.

I've heard of a Cab installer that allows you to remotely install CAB files through ActiveSync using your PC, and effectively bypassing explorer method.

Someone will probably be able to identify the name of the app before me, but I'll do a quick search and see what I can find.

It's possible to unlock it without Orange sim. Download MS ActiveSync and Jeyo Mobile Companion and install to your PC.
Put on another sim card to your phone and turn on it. When ActiveSync connected to phone, run Jeyo Mobile Companion.
Go to Task Manager that found on left block. Then go to Processes tab.
Find Simlock.exe and right click then choose End Process.
Now your phone is ready to unlock without Orange sim. smile.gif
