Well, i just got a c550 and its really rather nifty. I like being able to nip on msn and windows media player is really nice, not to forget smart explorer. What other apps can't you guys live without?

my WMP Remote control app:

allows you to control WMP from your mobile device (Smartphone/PPC) via bluetooth/gprs/wireless/usb cable

take a look on my site, and make sure you update both the Server/Client application versions after installing wink.gif

so pretty much acts like a remote control for your PC!

I thought this topic would be much more active...
Come on people, don't be afraid to share!

- Total Commander (what was MS thinking with its file browser)
- Smart Monitor plugin paired with a nice pack of home screen icons
- Mapopolis
- tcpmp
- keylock (used it for a while, but can re-install without a doubt)
- Fizz Traveller (Only if I can get some discount on it, tried it, loved it, removed it)
- Conduits Pocket Player, (my only complaint is that I cannot map my SDA buttons out of WMP to CPP very easily, and get them to stick there..)

I just got my smartphone so I'm still learning the apps I want but having owned Pocket PC's before I knew what I had to have before I even considered a smartphone:
eWallet
Listpro

Now I'm off to get Facade and Papyrus. I'm looking for a tool like Wizbar on the Pocket PC and it appears that xbar3 is that.

TomTom mobile - for getting about
tcpmp - i just got a sony car radio with a line-in input on the front woo yay
the bbc radio page for listening to all their archive on realplayer
quickreset - to reboot the bloody thing
cellprofileswitcher - so my phone is always on silent in the office and loud everywhere else and location-specific ringtones .
xbar - for scheduling flight mode at night, email collection, mp3 alarm
wm5storage
ShoZu - for uploading to flikr
picoblogger for blogging
omapclock - the only thing I've found this overclocking utility handy for is to view films from atomfilms.com and tv.reuters.com where it just needs a little boost

i think it is all freeware apart from xbar and TomTom

I've yet to find i stable free podcast receiver. any suggestions?

bttoggle - great little app for turning bluetooth on and off without having to go into the menus
papyrus - awesome calendar app
quickclose - kills all your running apps in one hit
tcpmp - standard smartphone media player is useless compared to this
pocket divx encoder - a pc app to shrink movies so can watch them on your phone
skype for smartphone - it doesn't do voice (i have the smartphone version not the ppc version) but can still msg with it
PHM registry editor - for registry hacks and tweaks
commman - desktop app that lets you send/receive sms from your pc when your phone is connected

with the excpetion of papyrus, they're all freeware as well...
