I've recently suffered a hardware disaster in which I lost the .pst file (all my Outlook data) on my PC. However, I do still have a bit of it on my O2 XDA Mini S. Is there a way I can recover this to my PC?
I think when you set up a partnership in ActiveSync with a new device it gives you some options about combining, ignoring or overwriting duplicate information on the device and PC, but I don't think none of these options will (at the first sync) copy the data on my device to the PC... Please help! Thanks -------------------- ![]() |

Please help! Thanks PST files are Personal Folders that don't usually in corporate environments - at least not ours - sync with Mobiles. However, you can be assured that if your contacts are on the phone in a folder that corresponds with your Contacts Folder in Outlook (Corporate edition), your phone will copy to the network/PC once you have made a new partnership. However, TAKE CARE. as one of the options in sync is the option to replace all on your phone with what is on the PC, you MUST be 100% sure you won't wipe out your copy on the phone. Before trying this, check with TESCO and see what offers they have on Andrex. |
