Does anyone know of a program that will sync windows 2005 with thunderbird and sunbird?

Welcome to the site

I've heard rumours of one being in development, but dont know a name of anything and haven't heard anything on it for ages.

I posted about it a while ago, so you could search here for "+thunderbird +sync" and put my username in, or Google it and see what you find.

I suspect the project never got anywhere, otherwise I'm sure we would have heard by now

How many times have I told someone to Google a question like this? I did and I found FinchSinc at http://www.finchsync.com/index.html Seams to be working good so far. Thanks for pointing out the obvious

Any experience with Funambol?

Was able to sync Thunderbird with Windows Live and Outlook, also sync Lightning, however not direct sync with WM6 (Furanbol -> WM6), have to go around through W live and Outlook (WM6-> W live -> Outlook -> Furanbol).

I haven't tried it yet, but one way I've been looking into is Plaxo - which allegedly has been/is being bought by FaceBook ( http://venturebeat.com/2008/01/14/facebook-buying-plaxo/ )

Client For Thunderbird: http://www.plaxo.com/downloads/tbird?src=products
Client For Windows Mobile: http://www.plaxo.com/downloads/windowsmobile (it's based on Funambol)

Advantages: can be synch'd via cradle or "over the air" via WiFi/GPRS - which is more than you can say for ActiveStink

50p a week though... huh.gif

If anyone's tried it I'd like to hear their opinions!
