[C500] Change UK Rom to French Rom ? |

Hello,
I have purchased a UK Orange SPV C500 with Orange UK Rom on it. Is it possible for me to reflash it completely with a french rom ? When I try to apply the french update from orange, it says wrong language, impossible to update. Anyone knows how to do it ? Thank you Max |

You will need to CID unlock the device, this will remove the regional lock that comes with the ROM.
There are two options, the free method comes via SPVdevelopers.com and requires you to follw a set of instructions or the paid method is to SIM unlock the phone at imei-check.co.uk which will also CID unlock at the same time in an easy to use process. -------------------- Smartphone and PocketPC History
