memory card problems, my mpx220 doesnt read my 1gb card |

I have a 1GB Sandisk mini SD card.Its brand new and my computer reads it but when i put it into my phone it doesn't show up.Any help is appreciated.P.S.Its not the memory card because its my second one.

i'm running a 2gb mini sd card in my mpx220.
my phone has the latest cingular branded rom installed on it. which firmware does your phone have? try to change your firmware version. I had same problem before, I tried with 3.45, 3.46 and 1.47 and all can not read/detect my 1gb sandisk. tried once with 3.51 rom and looks good but I have a random shutdown issue, so finally my oxblood mpx220 can use the 1gb sandisk mini card without any others issue with ROM 3.50.
before used ROM 3.50, I tried to used 512mb PQI and 1gb TOSHIBA on my oxblood mpx220, and all have another issue. used my 512 PQI and 1gb toshiba can make my oxblood mpx220 hang when idle or playing mp3. it's very annoying because it can not be start up again until I removed the battery. This all issue never happen for my mpx220 silver. lucky my oxblood mpx220 are stable using ROM 3.5 (have beed using about 1 month without any issue at all) otherwise will waste another card  so finally you need to test it which ROM are suitable with your mpx220.
