Just tried to call the UK from the USA on a Dash and S620 and if the number is busy you get a series of very fast pips and not the correct busy tone.

Is this a known fault?

Problem exists with Dash & WM6 as well as S620 & WM5

Not sure if the same problem happens with UK to UK calls.

I am back in the UK now and I can confirm both the S620 and Dash give faulty busy tones when calling UK phone numbers.

Can anyone else confirm?

From another of your posts it seems that your phones might be US models?

If so, then they are bound to play US busy tone aren't they? I thought the phone just played a wav/mp3 for the busy tone.

Hope. My Dash is US and my S620 is UK. They both have the same problem. It is not even the US busy tone you get. It is a sound more like a darlek running down a cobbled street at 100mph.
