Nice one.
Few guestions: * How do you get the second screen in your screenshot? The one with the missed calls and music and video. * How can you acces email, Comm manager en internet explorer in Landscape mode? These are on the side of the screen... Or are they just for the look... |

Really impressive, your xml skills are brilliant, the only thing I don't like is the fake buttons but then i'm a funny guy

All the functions that operate on the front screen will also operate in 'landscape mode' you press the middle key on the far right of your keyboard to activate them. I hope this explains it for you P.S. The theme also contains the LCD PLUGIN that will give you alarm functions with a continuous alarm (of your choice) and an hourly 'bip'. I see, no the three keys on the right in landscape mode cannot be accessed they are there to display the ' Touch ' theme only. It would be lovely to have more keys to operate but you are quite restricted with the layout and positioning of plugins on the Vox/E650 due to the tight space available. If you place more plugins futher down on the front-screen they will then not operate in landscape mode. Many plugins simply will not operate on the same line too. I hope this explains it a little, many thanks for your interest and I'm glad you still like the design....

Been using it for a week now and still love it.
But, is there a way to see all your appointements for that day on the homescreen? Except just one? Could you make that into the theme? |

This is the final release of Smartouch to go with Pauls mega debrander. I just managed to squeeze it all in with about one pixel to spare, I didn't want to change the screen as I wanted to retain the integrity with the original ' touch ' design. I have enlarged the time ( full 24hr i.e 01:14 ) added an all appointments calendar display and changed the scroll-bar to a matching homescreen green to make for easier viewing. I hope you like it..
...oh, and while i was at it I debranded the Orange carrier on front screen! NB. The second file below is the new ammended version, please do not download the first. This post has been edited by Looby: Jun 13 2007, 00:50

I just spent the last 2 hours trying to get the smart monitor working on this theme, to which I suceeded on the xml but could not figure how to label each of the 3 monitors up (Battery, Memory and Storage from Dak's theme).
I tried editing the background and couldn't get the format right and then tried to edit the xml to display the text.....!! Ah good to tinker but very frustrating to a numpty like me. Great Theme though. Mark |

Do you have to do something specific to get it to work?
Because I de-branded my vox a month ago and can't get your new theme to work. Is there a new version of the debrander or am I missing something? |

Hi, I don't know if we are talking at cross purposes or something, I just double checked by downloading the zip and copying the xml file and the folder to my homescreen on an E650 and it's ok.

Looby, I download the file extract it and copy it to my Home screen folder and then load up as detailed in your note pad file and get an error of No Homescreen found. The only thing you can do I guess is to switch to another screen, run activesync and try again. I cannot see how Pauls Debrander affects it as I have it on my E650 too. I don't think for a minute its anything to do with the Debrander, just really additional information. Unfortunatly I'm know XML expert as detailed above. I can see the theme in the homescreen selection and get the Colour scheme change. When I manually select the Smart Touch as my background I get a distorted screen layout. Got it to work. I renamed the folder to smartouch.home. That did the trick. And it seems that in your XML some names were messed up of the files. The background refers to the theme of the touch, but is is named differently... So I also changed them.
Just check it out, you should see it. I attached a new version. Some remarks. * Is it possible to have the clock in white in stead of gray? White is easier to see... * And can you put a space between the time and the text of the appointement in the calender plugin? (Check your screenshot, there isn't any...) * And when I go to settings or contacts or... The highlight is always in green instead of Gray like in the HTC touch theme. Any idea how to change this? Great work btw.
