Hi

If anyone has the inclination and time and has an HTC Mogul with the Esmertec JVM could they please download our just released application Midprofile for eBay, and try to capture and import a photo and just generally play with it a bit and see if it installs and runs? We're getting a Sprint version here soon and we are signed by Sprint (and Versign too) but are not sure how we would run with other carriers on this phone, but really any help at all with just seeing if capture (JSR135) and Import (JSR75) works would be great to know meanwhile. Our website is at http://www.midprofile.com and the signed download JAD is at http://www.midprofile.com/ota/eb/Midprofile.jad

Thanks a lot!

Chris

Well we got the Mogul today with the Esmertec Midlet manager pre-installed. It works with Midprofile for eBay out-of-the-box. This is a Windows Mobile 6 device. It has one problem that I wish Esmertec would fix and that doesn't just apply to our app and that isn't there with other midlet managers - it's TEXT BOX control goes nuts above about 2K!
That's ok if you don't use a lot of html in your eBay listings but plenty of our customers do have rich description fields, so until Esmertec fixes this (and it seems to be in a lot of their products liek JBed-FASTDac) we're back to recommending WM5 and WM6 with the IBM J9 midlet manager
