 Cleartype in Landscape Mode

Gents, is there a way to enable cleartype also in landscape mode? Sofar it only shows cleartype in Portrait mode. thanks for your help.

You need to tweak the registry to do this.

HKLM\System\GDI\ClearTypeSettings\OffOnRotation = 0 (DWORD decimal. What is this? how do i get to do this.Easy explanation please.

Ok

First you need to install a registry editor, Personally I use the one that comes with Resco Explorer (15 day trial)
PHM Registry editor is a free one that I know of, although never used it myself.

Anyway when you have one installed fire it up and navigate to the string HKLM\System\GDI\ClearTypeSettings
(BTW HKLM is short for KKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)
Now select the value OffOnRotation and change the data from 1 to 0, Thats a ZERO wink.gif

Now turn off the phone by holding the power key down, restart and ClearType in Landscape is all yours cool.gif

You can tweak loads of settings by editing the registry, have a browse through the rest of that page biggrin.gif
