Loading CameraAware on the vario3 WM6 the Camera Aware window has loaded and I have pressed Connect and then it freezes with 22.27 loading camera database message

I have removed Camera Aware after several freezes and restarts. TomTom cannot find a GPS signal ??

My Vario 3 can't get a gps fix at all now ???
I have a very sick phone now, looks like a factory reset.

After Factory reset, and starting to load all my programs again. Reloaded TomTom and can get a GPS fix again, so it looks like the GPS drivers got fried?

Any ideas ?

CamerAware shouldn't screw the GPS settings, particularly on the new Kaiser Beta version... but on either really!

The strange thing was that the GPS just wouldn't see a signal before a hard reset. The phone was going at half speed and really having problem doing anything.

After a hard reset the phone is back to normal. I am not sure what caused it to freeze in the first place as the window interface was fine, the problems arose after I pressed connect.

Hi guys, had the same problem, it was so bad I took the phone back and T-Mobile replaced it ! I spent hours on the phone to Tomtom, T-Mobile, co-pilot and several tech stores, all had different stories. According to Tomtom Navigator 6 is not compatible with Windows 6 !!!!!!!!!!! something to do with hard re-setting Vario3 and new codes being produced which in turn needs new activation codes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which Tomtom dont like.
The botttom line is we have a phone that is not compatible with any mapping software !!!!!!!! UNTIL CO-PILOT 7 IS RELEAESD which will be the first software to run on Windows 6.
The other solution is to run Tomtom from sd card which is what I am about to try. mad.gif

That sounds a bit nasty, I haven't hard reset my Vario III yet but when I do I would be very annoyed to find that any of the programs I have installed that rely on the unit ID stop working.

lowlight, You might have been setting it up wrong... I have no problems with Tom Tom Nav 6 on my Vario III.

I copied the files to my 6GB memory card, ran it from there and it works.
