 Smartmonitor not working

Hi, I have an i-mate SPL running standard i-mate software with WM5 and have installed Smartmonitor to use on my homescreen. The problem is that the data does not show on the screen (the reading or bar always shows Zero). I use smartmonitor to show the carrier and signal strength aswell and this works but the battery strength does not. The standard battery level shows in the standard icon bar.

Can anyone help?

There seems to be something odd with the SPL in terms of battery monitoring - I recall TomTom flashes up the battery warning the whole time while it's running. I can only suggest you report the failure to the software authors to see if they can come up with a fix for it.
