If I cut my (hook over ears) A2DP headset in two, Will one side still work ?

At the moment I use a standard mono headset to listen to music via bluetooth, but the sound is rubbish, using bluecast.
I only want to have one ear piece but good quailty sound via bluetooth.

Haha, what a weird idea!

If you cut it in two, is it still gonna stay on your ear? biggrin.gif If so, can you open them up and break the connection to the second earpiece in a reversible way to test first?

Which headphones btw?

Isn't it easier to get an A2DP eaubud pair like the Nokia 12W or the Plantronics 260 (WARNING: only get the latter if you aren't using the MS BT stack!) or any Sonys and just don't plug-in one of the buds in your other ear?
