XT9 Disapeared and ABC is in its' place??? (Only on 3rd party apps) |

All of a sudden XT9 disapeared and ABC mode is there in stead for all apps installed on my phone but not regular txt messages. I scroll through modes and XT9 is not there. The only thing I did since I last used XT9 was power off the phone and I haven't sync'ed it or anything.
I did install the trial of Opera Mobile Yesterday morning but since then I have had no problems and had powered off the phone serveral times. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steven |

Same thing happened again. This time from installing vtap. It is really annoying to hard reset every time this happens.

Anyone have an idea on how to fix it? I'm certainly not doing a hard reset just to fix this. thanks- |

when in text entry hold down the sym key and you can then select xt9
|

i had the same problem but holding the sym key just brought up the list of punctuations. is there another way around this?
