I know one of you crazy fools has figured out a solid way to do this, or knows someone on xda who has, or something...
I used OmapClock + OmapClockPlus back on my Blackjack 1 and was only moderately pleased with it. My understanding is that as soon as the phone goes into standby, it reverts to its standard clock. The fact that OmapClock was written for WM2003 also makes it a rather "inconvenient" choice as far as usability goes. The other app I've seen floating around out there is BatteryStatus, which I hear will step-up the clock once you wake your phone. Very nifty indeed. The problem with BatteryStatus is that it was written for the PocketPC version of Windows Mobile, and I can't get it to work on Windows Mobile Standard. Sadness. So I'm curious if anyone else has figured out a way to make OmapClock work decently (without having to re-activate it all the time), has gotten BatteryStatus to run on WM6 Standard, or has just found another good overclocking app that works well. |

Omapclock works just fine if you will create a shortcut to omapclockplus in your windows/startup folder. Edit it to set your clock at whatever you like. Mine is set "-clock276" |

Have you tried Tornado PowerControl? I used it on my 3125....it supports CPU scaling according to CPU usage, and the levels can be modified in the registry to better support the faster CPU in the BJII.

Use Total Commander on your phone. I got Total Commander and tried to "edit" the shortcut file. when I tried editing, I got the following: 29#"\My Documents\omapclock.exe" Do I edit to the following? 29#"\My Documents\omapclock.exe-clock 264" (276 screws up my sound). I tried to edit the target via going to the shortcut's Properties, but was not able to edit the target. Thanks. |

Try to leave a space between exe and -clock 264 in the target line like: "\Windows\OmapClock.exe -clock 264" |

For those wondering, here is the edit line: 29#"\My Documents\omapclock.exe" -clock 264 Input whatever, speed works for you. Unfortunately, I lose sound at 276. My question for anyone is why some are able to run at 276 (some even at 288) without any adverse effects? Could it be what programs are running in the background (i.e. push email)? Thanks, again. Luv the forum. |

Luv the forum. I've done all this, added the shortcut to the startup menu with " -clock 264" to the end of the command line. But after I reboot, and open up OmapClock, it still says my clock is set to 252. Any help? |

Any help? Is your BJII completely app unlocked? Don't know if that's the reason since that's the first thing I did with mine and everything hack seems to stick so far. |

I just installed Runtweak and copied the Omap shortcut with the -clock 276" at the end and it didn't work either. I noticed that there was already a omapclock.exe file in StartUp so I looked at that one and it was the same as the shortcut I had created, except that there was -clock 252 but after the quotes for the target.
I then deleted the shortcut I created from Startup, changed 252 to 275, and put the quotes on the outside (of the file that was already there in Startup) and tried it again - it didn't work. So then I moved the quotes back to look like: ....\OmapClock.exe" -clock 276. After a power-cycle, it works...but when I look at the file in Startup now, the quotes actually "moved themselves" back to the outside; but it's working and sticking to: ...\Omapclock.exe -clock 276" ...Weird?
