Hi all

sometimes, my Niki is in sleep mode, and it just won't wake up for some reason... although the LED is still blinking properly, it is impossible to wake up the device with the power button, only way then is to remove the battery !

most of the times it happens when in standby mode and someone tries to call me. of course the call does not go through and the device remains in standby mode forever. this pisses me off because you can't notice it and you may miss calls/messages

has anyone encountered this already ? if so, could it be solved by a tweak or a rom flash ?

thanks !

ok, from another site where people experience this freeze during standby mode they have found by disabling the Today Timeout their freeze has been fixed.

Start-Settings-Today-Items and disable Today timeout.
(What does this setting even do?)

Do you have 'GPRS Monitor' installed or maybe the M:Metrics internet monitoring application? I found both of these apps caused total lock-ups on my Hermes variant (Vario II).
