Surely some tech head can come up with a software solution? I synch my HTC cruise perfectly with the vista side then input calender, tasks and contacts by hand into snap vue just so that I don't have to fire up vista. Apparently Snapvue synchs though a work network (pointless) so why not via an activesync or mirror software straight from a PDA or from an online service like a pseudo network that allows vista synch to 'bounce back' to SnapVue. Hi Paul,
You wrote: "-Enabled SDHC support for the internal card reader" As far as my Shift is concerned, I can say that the internal card reader does support SDHC (German Retail, amazon.com). I have an 8gig SDHC Class6 Card. The Device Manager shows the correct size and the transfer rate is +/- 5mb/sec. Did you get the Version with or without Origami Exp.? Maybe the guys at HTC decided to upgrade the Hardware a bit Cheers from Germany, Hyrex |

I would like a vehicle mount that allows access to the keyboard when needed. There are options out there but they either need me to glue/stick something onto the back of the Shift which would allow for keyboard use but then I have something mounted to the back of the device. I don't like that idea. Otherwise, there is the option of using a "vise" type device that would not allow me to access the keyboard. I will probably go this route if I have to but I do not prefer it.
I talked to ProClip and they were not going to make a holder for this device unless it really takes off. It would cost over $5,000 US to make a device for the Shift and they don't think that there will be enough demand for it at this time. Their office is only a couple miles from mine and I stopped by and talked with them and showed them my device. They took some measurements and weighed it and thought they could definitely do something but it was a matter of ROI. Any recommendations would be helpful. |

Hi!
I think this is what you need (not so sure about the keyboared though, just ask them): http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t...&t_mode=des cheers! word is gps has been unlocked by the shift project, heard it on irc, wifi im not sure about, but i also heard that sd cant even be found by wm in any way theyve tried so far. Also, they think they know how to make calls, but not 100% or actually done it yet.
