I have to stay at a relatives house for a few weeks beginning next month. Problem is they don't have any internet access at all. What I'm thinking of doing is using my O2 Orbit 2 & T-Mobile sim card with basic £7.50 web'n walk as 3g modem.

My understanding is that T-Mobile restricts the use of the basic WnW package to access internet over computer.

Now I have a friend who has one of those white T-Mobile 3g usb modems that I can borrow. My question is can I pop in my sim card & will it work? Also will T-Mobile know I'm using it connected to my laptop?

Which OS? Vista - just run Internet Sharing on your phone, hit connect and then plug it into your laptop wink.gif
