The BJII has 256 meg ROM.
All I have loaded is Windows Live Search and LEDAlerts and a few pix and the settings-memory says on 155 meg left. Does the OS eat up this much space... |

Yep. The OS plus the crap ATT bundles with it (MobiTV, XM Radio, etc...) all take a lot of space also.

Yep. The OS plus the crap ATT bundles with it (MobiTV, XM Radio, etc...) all take a lot of space also. Kinda funny.. give them the space and they will fill it. I loaded a couple Vanilla's and a couple KitchenSink ROMS on my HTC and found the space to be 65Mb to 80Mb installed. Those were WM6 based ROMS too, with lots and lots of extras. It's funny that ATT puts 100MB on there, considering I think IIRC the clean WM6 is just over 60. I'm not gonna flash the Blackjack2 though.. I kinda like all the extra crap. |
