Bought myself a gps receiver a few months back, worked fine until I either installed the rom update or dropped the gps, don't know which of those caused it to stop working. Don't think it was dropping the gps as it was a very minor drop, but then I wouldn't have thought installing the rom update would have messed it up either.

First thing I decided to mess around with was the comm port settings and now i've forgotten which one the default setting was. Anyone have the answer? Cheers in advance

Ok tried port 6 and still no joy using either Google maps or Live Search, just keeps saying it couldn't connect.

Anyone have any ideas other than the comm port that could be causing this?

Did you restart your phone.

I'm using a Bluetooth GPS receiver and after connecting with bluetooth for the first time, I had to reboot before I saw the COM port in TOMTOM 6.
