I read around some about the BlackJack 2 which I just bought.
1) People mention hacking the gps, does this mean I can use the phone as a GPS for free? 2) Is there a consensus on a good data only message program? 3) How about getting youtube to work? 4) Is there alot of websites that don't work on the phone? I think thats it for now. |

I am just ahead of you. 1 - yes; it means you can access the gps receiver that comes internally so that applications other than the one that AT&T wants to charge you monthly for. To get serious about gps you will want to buy a software package anyway but you can try things for free like Google Maps or Windows Live Search if you have data service. 2 - not sure what you are asking 3 - yes it will with a little modification 4 - well heavy flash websites and silverlight seem to be an issue for me as well as the older frame style websites. Fortunately a lot of the more popular sites have mobile versions You can get started here http://www.modaco.com/content/Samsung-i617...Thread-of-Tips/ to begin answering alot of your questions. You know, the 4th question answer is no,maybe there are not any websites that dont work because the heavy flash sites are not a big cheese for windows mobile and there is a plugin like a silverlight mobile. I have 200 messages a month and unlimited data, so i was hoping to find a way to use my messages for phone to phone and data for aim and such |
