(If someone from Microsoft, HTC or any other WM device reads this, I mean no disrespect!  )I've been thinking about trying to write a basic equivalent to AppStore, but AppToDate, with it's ability to read the XML files is a lot closer than what I've got to. If there was some way to load all AppToDate XML files into a central "bank" or get AppToDate to know where each and every XML file is stored, you could add an extra couple of lines in like CODE <author></author> <catagory></catagory> and get AppToDate to allow searching, and sorting of the programs through those tags. -------------------- |

Yeah, if we can combine AppToDate with some kind of database of free applications that the software can access... we might have WIN on our hands

Hello all.
Anyone know why am I getting only 2 applications to be updated? e.g. AppToDate and Resco Explorer, while i DO have more then these two (S2U2, SKTools, SKSchema and SKTSync) |

P Is this replay ment to me? if so, I've deleted apptodate.lastcheck.xml to force the AppToDate to recreate it... The program was a good idea, but has turned out to defeat it's own purpose -- you have to check after using it to see if it has downloaded the updates. It all winds up more confusing than just checking for updates yourself
