 spv m700 unlock

Hi there , can anyone tell me if its possible to unlock my orange m700 , do I need to take it to a shop that deals with this or is it something I can do myself, thanks , susie. dry.gif

It depends on how 'techy' you are, and whether you are far into your Orange contract.

If near the end of an Orange contract, you can ask Customer Services to unlock it for you- for which they will charge about £15.

If you have any tech savvy, you can use the free 'Unlocker' from XDA Developers (the M700 is a 'Trinity' device). If you do this though, you will initially lose the GPS as it replaces the radio with a non-GPS enabled one. You would then need to update the radio again with a newer version (which maintains the unlock status)
