I have XDA Orbit - have email setup fine, the phone picks up my email.

But even on WIFI it takes ages to get past 'Looking for changes'.

Is there somethign I can do to improve this?

Or is there a better email client I can use?

Thanks for your help!

Flexmail is a good mail client.

Email usually works fine. I tend not to do manual send/receive though. Is your mailbox running as pop3 or imap4?

I don't think you will ever get it as quick as a desktop client. Although email is never meant to be instantaneous guaranteed communication.

My email will appear on my phone before my desktop! If you have Exchange and use push email it is actually quicker than Outlook in my desktop.

If you are thinking of Flexmail it';s worth noting that it is free to Plus members - one of the many reasons for joining Modaco Plus!
