Hi all, my first post here.

Anyone know if there is some way that I can disable the 1 and 9 keys from turning on the screen when my BJII is key-locked? My BJII case keeps pressing those buttons all day and it destroys my battery life. My case is unable to press the power button though.

Thanks!

I doubt it. That's a safety feature so you can still dial 911, with out unlocking the phone.

its definitly possible however i have no idea how but i dont recomend EVER changing that security feature...try bending the case or putting in a bigger object in the case to help stretch it and maybe it will get worked in enough that it wont push the keypad.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure the lights turn on because their emergency keys. If you'll note, 0-8 is also an emergency number that you can dial, but neither of those keys turns on the light. Therefore, it *might* be possible to stop it from lighting up when pressing those keys while retaining the ability to dial those emergency numbers. I'll start skimming the registry, but if I had to guess, it's beyond a simple reg edit....
