ive got two upgrades due, one on the 7th and one on 20th aug. both on £35 a month plans but ive been with orannge nearly 6 years, i hope they arnt going to insist on the £40 tarriff for the free diamond i simply wont use the minutes (400 mins and unlimited txts is ample) otherwise i may have to look elsewhere for both contracts. I know many people say it but i spend nearly £2,000 a year with orange, the least they can do is give me the phone for free.

They cant afford to give you the phones for free if the spend on that number doesn't earn them enough... Anyway, go for the £40 plans and get data thrown in... or pay £35, plus charges for data plus handset contribution. -------------------- HTC Diamond running Dutty's V1.6 rom.

You get data thrown in for the £35 packages now. so may not be worth it. the thing is, buy the time you add in: insurance, VAT and itemised billing my bill is always £50ish anyway and as prices in general are going up for everything, £6/7 (inc VAT) extra every month is a lot of money. |

Question. Does anyone know if "Dolphin 35" will be the same where its brought from? What I mean is on the Orange site the 18month Dolphin 35 includes the unlimited mobile browsing option. However, on other websites (dealers selling Orange contracts) where a slightly better deal price wise can be obtained (when taking into account the redemptions) they dont mention the unlimited mobile browsing (maybe because its so new). Could I order from one of these dealers safe in the knowledge that my Dolphin 35 will match the Orange direct tarif?
Thanks |

Dealer/resellers often don't have the same tariff deals as Orange direct. They obtain bulk deals from the operators, but may omit some of the incentives. If in doubt, ask before buying. Once you have a contract though, you should be able to register online with Orange, from where you can switch tariffs, though this is upwards only for the 1st 9 months of an 18 month contract. Online tarif switching now includes the new deals.
Orange online prices are currently £5 cheaper than in Orange shops, so the Dolphin 35 deal which is the lowest of the 'Unlimited Internet' deals is £35 instore and £30 online. -------------------- NeilM: Site Moderator and Reviewer on 4WinMobile
