This afternoon, I was caught on camera by the Google Maps Car as I drove past it in Norwich!

Wonder how long they will process it until being made public on their website due to this:

It was in Norwich! I heard of a sighting in Brum a couple of weeks ago. Where in the city were you? I drove through Ber Street and up Theatre Street at 3pm but didn't notice it. If I had I think my gf would have given me that worried look she does when I get exited about technology

LOL, they got me on Ber Street! Around 4pm or so, which means you've missed it by 1 hour!

An Opel rather than Vx... interesting. Ok, not really, but I would have expected an English-bought car from the googleplex.

Maybe they should have done street view down Ber Street at night. Then people would get annoyed about being caught on camera laugh.gif

Look what I found sleeping!

For those that would like to stalk it, it's on a side street just off St Augustines

Good find. Wonder if Google pays someone to drive around and call them up when they need some data...

Well it seems to be a black Astra according to the sighting I heard of in Brum and both references in this article. I'm assming it's the same car as you never seem to get two sightings in the same day from different areas.

One thing to think about is that St. Augustines is permit holders only so I guess they're employing local people to do the driving

Well at least the GM page of Street Sightings shows that there are at least 5 different vehicles- all black, but some Vauxhall and some Opel smile.gif
