Device(s): BlackJack II

Hello everyone, new to the forum and I have a couple quick questions about the BJII

My pervious phone was a reflashed HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125) and one of the things I really liked about the phone was that the LED would flash to indicate things like missed calls, unread texts, etc. It was really nice cuz I coud just look at the phone and see if I had a missed call or whatever.

Another thing I liked was when you press the Fn or Shift key, a little icon would appear on the bottom taskbar to show that you were typing in caps or using symbols/numbers.

I've searched the forum and read through the two main tips/tricks threads but found nothing on these topics so I'm hoping someone has either figured it out alrady, or can at least help me do it. My phone is App Unlocked and I have RegEditSTG installed.

1. LED notification (blinking orange, red, gree, blue .. whatever color) of missed calls and texts
2. Remapping the power button on top to turn off the screen instead of bring up Quick List
3. Program notification for caps and symbols until turned off back to normal typing.
4. Remap the text button on bottom right corner to take me straight to inbox as opposed to account selection menu.

#1 Get LEDAlerts. Just pay the $12.95 or so. It's a very nice program worth the small $$$
#2 No info, sorry
#3 I bought Facade, another desktop customizer well worth the bucks, which shows this in the upper right hand corner.
#4 Just do the setting here.

You can already turn off the screen whenever you want by holding down the messaging button in the bottom right hand corner.

Also, If you've recently used messaging, pressing the letter button in the right hand corner already takes you straight to the inbox. Or at least it does for me.

Yea I know about that already, but I'm really not a big fan of it. Half the time I end up releasing the button right as the screen turns off, which turns it right back on and takes me to the inbox. I'd much rather have a one-click screen turn off feature.

Maybe the Silent button can be remapped? I really don't use that much, especially since the power button gives you the option to quickly change profiles.
