Ok, I am nearing the end of my contract, and saw the HTC diamond for an upgrade, and caught my eye. Looking about the net, i read some very mixed reviews... so i have questions i would love to have answered please! Prefferably from those who have used the phone and own one!
1) Is the battery life really as bad as people make out? 2) I heard it is really sluggish,is this true? 3) Does it crash a lot as some reviews suggest? 4) What the heck is push mail? 5) I read that finger print marks are annoying and show easily on the diamond, is this so? 6) Some people reported that the back removable cover became worn out and weared after a few weeks of owning/using it, true or false? 7) I dont mind the inbuilt memory being stuck at 4gb, but someone mentioned to me you can make it bigger? is this possible? please reply as soon as possible, many thanks! |

1) Is the battery life really as bad as people make out? It has a relatively small battery, so if a long battery life is vital then this phone isn't for you. I suspect I'd get two or three days out of it with "normal" use, but two or three hours used as satnav and the battery is flat, so it very much depends on usage as well. 2) I heard it is really sluggish,is this true? TouchFlo is not blindingly quick, but I've yet to use a Windows Mobile device that is. By using some of the customised ROMs you can optimise the speed. 3) Does it crash a lot as some reviews suggest? This is the most stable Windows Mobile phone I've had. I've maybe reset it once or twice in a month. 4) What the heck is push mail? Email delivered the instant it arrives at the server. More at Wikipedia. 5) I read that finger print marks are annoying and show easily on the diamond, is this so? No more or less annoying than any other phone I've used. 6) Some people reported that the back removable cover became worn out and weared after a few weeks of owning/using it, true or false? I use mine in a case, and the phone is immaculate. 7) I dont mind the inbuilt memory being stuck at 4gb, but someone mentioned to me you can make it bigger? is this possible? Sorry, no idea. |

Its no good over the inbuilt speaker for music or speakerphone, but voice conversations via the normal speaker are loud and clear and the music player is fine over headsets.
