I have spend hours trying to search the forums and the web without any success.
perhaps someone could tell me, if i were to flash the rom XXHI2 onto my omnia would i lose all my information and programs that are currently installed? i am using DXHI1 for PDA right now and have read many good things about adding XXHI2 for the PHONE part of the rom. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers |

The firmware update, essentially overwrites everything there. If you have things installed to the "My Storage" (8gb or 16gb area) then they stay. Unless you do a hard reset- then i believe that is wiped too. Most of the time progz installed to the "My Storage" have trouble working after a firmware upgrade. So you might as well just re-install every pgorgram. However, if you just flash the radio (phone) part....I'm not sure if that will erase anything. what is the WM 6.1 (build) version of the HI2...
I got everything pretty good in HI1. I just wonder that if I can do a sprite backup, and restore them after flash to HI2 |
