Currently supports:
MOD, IT, XM, S3M file formats Will support soon... WAV, MP2, MP3, OGG, RAW and MID Work still to be done... I removed the VU level meters for each channel (Crashed the phone when it went into sleep mode) Will try and resolve it. Playlist needs implementing. Better user interface needs developing. Options need to be implemented such as Playback Sample Rate and more.... Hope you like.... |

Hi ya.
Installed the App looks good. Only 1 question tho, i can't actually get it to play a single thing ? I have followed the instructions in the readme file. I have tried the tracks in Storage CardMy Music Storage CardMusic Storage CardMyMusic And no joy on any of them. I have tried both .xm and .it files. No joy at all, the app does load up, and does look good. Am i actually missing something really simple ? -------------------- They say the pen is mightier than the sword, i am not blooming surprised you ever tried to write an essay with a Scaramanga Long Sword ?

Never mind, i think its sorted now.
I had to reboot my phone. Dunno if it liked a folder called "My Music", it was there but the software didn't like it. After a swift on and off, it now picks it up and lists the files. Nice. Plays very nice, and must use minimal CPU, as it plays in the background without too much hassle at all. Navigating the menus i couldn't notice ANY speed decrease. Nice one there, like to see the VU meters and that, but great all the same without it. Be nice if it / when it supports mp3, and hopefully with less stuttering that media player or PocketMVP. -------------------- They say the pen is mightier than the sword, i am not blooming surprised you ever tried to write an essay with a Scaramanga Long Sword ?

Just been on the Boxwave site, now that is a bloody good idea.
I bought a sync / charger cable of ebay, but i have to ravel it up all the time, thats a really cool idea. Got all the cables for my SPV, just need to see if they do one for my P800. I am tempted to use the bluetooth tho to connect to home laptop, and one of these cables possibly for my work PC. Cool idea, have i said that already ? Well i am obviously easily impressed. Got a version with the VU meters that I will post on my site tomorrow. At a m8s house at the mo so I cant do it now.
I've bin running it tonight on my phone without any hanging but I had to reduce the refresh rate. Anyhowz... I will put it up on my site tomorrow for download but dont expect it to be 100% perfect. Bug reports are always welcome. Dave  |

Nice app there Frijj2k,
I have now got it all working lovely as you have probably read, but i am still having troubles. It doesn't seem to list .it files at all ? I have tried serveral, it loves the .xm's and the .mod's just not the .it's ? Also i have got some absolutely fantastic .xm's for it from :- http://www.modarchive.com/artists/elwood/ This guy used to make the most excellent music, (Unknown Phuture is my favourite) anyhow, they work lovely but get part way and close the app down. Dunno if there is anything you can do about it, i think its the Fcmod part, as even when i use them in Boxy Pocket, it does the same there, but just thought i would mention it. -------------------- They say the pen is mightier than the sword, i am not blooming surprised you ever tried to write an essay with a Scaramanga Long Sword ?
